Sussex Coast Schools Alliance

This course is designed to equip teaching assistants with skills and knowledge to improve the progress of the children they are working with. It will combine theory and practical ideas to facilitate children’s learning whilst also considering the varying and changing needs of individual children and how best to support them. The course will introduce a case study mini- project, aimed at developing a focus child’s progress in reading and/or writing.

This course is intended for teaching assistants who are new to the role or who are seeking to gain more confidence in their role.
