Improving Writing Outcomes Programme
This is a programme aiming to ensure better progress for all your pupils in school.
This programme is planned and delivered by expert classroom practitioners and will look at key aspects of how to move children on in their writing. We will look at opportunities for writing across the curriculum from reception to KS2. It will give schools the opportunity for collaboration and learning walks in other schools.
Who should attend? Lead teachers of English.
The programme will be led by Amy McCardie, Specialist Leader of Education (Hangleton Primary School), Ben Massey (West Hove Infants) and Wendy Harkness, Headteacher (West Hove Infants). There will also be input from other SLEs focussing on all age ranges.
To complement the learning, there will also be the opportunity to have the support of an SLE for half a day in your school. This could be support for leading training, learning walks, work scrutinies or planning.
