Developing Teachers in their 2nd-4th Year of Teaching Programme
The Early Career Framework is now in place for ECTs. However, it is felt that there should be more support and development for teachers in their second to fourth year of teaching. These colleagues will have started their career during the pandemic and are only now experiencing something like a “normal” school experience.
Many things have been different for them including classroom based practice and expectations were ever changing. Consequently, a programme of targeted development has been arranged.
