Sussex Coast Schools Alliance

Developing trainee teachers is at the heart of everything we do.  The benefits for schools are many as teachers are involved in mentoring and developing training.  They enhance their own pedagogical skills through discussion and modelling with trainees.

We also learn from our trainees who bring to the classroom their own experience and fresh ideas.  Through high quality training in school based placements, schools have a pool of very good teachers from which to recruit.  

We work in close partnership with with the University of Brighton and the University of Sussex.  We provide school based placements for both undergraduate and postgraduate training routes.
