Bad Weather Procedure
In the event that school has to be closed because of bad weather, parents and carers will be informed as follows:
- Notice on the school website
- Inclusion on the closed schools list on the Argus website
- Text via Teacher to Parents
We will use the same systems to notify parents and carers of continuing closure and of the date of school reopening
If the school has to close due to worsening weather conditions, the text messaging service will be used to inform parents and carers. For pupils' safety, they will not be released to go home unless parents/carers have given permission for them to do so.
