Downs Junior School

Key priorities are the main areas a school chooses to focus on to bring about improvement and achieve its overall aims. They are identified through self-evaluation and data analysis, helping to direct time, resources, and professional development towards the actions that will make the biggest difference to pupils’ learning, progress, and wellbeing. Each priority sets out clear goals, measures of success, and responsibilities to ensure consistent progress across the school. A more detailed School Development Plan underpins these priorities and is regularly reviewed by the Senior Leadership Team, with progress monitored by the governing body.
